Quick answers.
Do my customers need an app?
No. Every modern phone (iPhone XS+ and most Android) reads NFC out of the box. They just tap and the link opens.
Can I change where the card points later?
Yes, that's the whole point. The card is locked to your TAPREF URL. You change the destination from the dashboard.
What if I lose a card?
Order a replacement. Your slug stays yours. Cards can't be reassigned to a different slug. That's a security feature.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You keep the cards forever. Without a subscription, the card simply does Direct Redirect.
When will my pre-ordered cards ship?
We are currently finalizing production. As soon as cards are ready to ship, your order will be dispatched and you'll receive a tracking number via email.
Does it work on every phone?
Yes. NFC is built into every iPhone since the 7 (2016) and basically all Androids. No app needed. The OS just opens the URL.
Where do you ship?
Right now we ship to the US, Canada, EU, UK, Brazil, and Mexico. Lead time is 3–5 business days. Email us if you're elsewhere. We usually figure something out.
Bulk orders for 50+ cards?
Yes, we have volume pricing for orders of 50, 100, and 500. Each card gets a unique ID for per-employee analytics. Just email sales@tapref.app.
Is my data safe?
We don't sell data. Customer feedback stays private to you. We use SSL everywhere and follow GDPR/CCPA. You can export everything as CSV anytime.
